  1. Public Service Broadcasting Day is observed on 12 November every year to commemorate the first and last visit of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi to the studio of the then All India Radio, Delhi, (now Akashvani ) in 1947.
  2. World Diabetes Day is observed on 14 November every year to bring attention to diabetes as a pressing global public health issue. The theme of World Diabetes Day 2023 is “Access to diabetes care”.
  3. Cricket legends Virender Sehwag, Diana Edulji and Aravinda de Silva have been inducted into ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. 
  4. A state of emergency was declared in Iceland after powerful earthquakes rocked the Reykjanes peninsula.
  5. The Department of Telecom has granted internet service provider license to Jio Satellite Communications and Bharti Group backed OneWeb to provide broadband internet services to end-users using satellite.
  6. India hosted the 33rd Conference of the WOAH (World Organization for Animal Health) Regional Commission for Asia and the Pacific from 13 to 16 November, 2023.
  7. Uttar Pradesh Government has achieved the sixth Guinness World Record by lighting 22.23 lakh diyas on Deepotsav at 51 ghats of Ayodhya, including the Ram Ki Paidi.

  10. A new research has revealed an interesting phenomenon in Antarctica, declining sea ice is linked to increased regional snowfall. While this can temporarily slow global sea level rise, it is unlikely to fully offset long-term ice melt impacts.
